One of our favorite Lake & Stars women is Danielle Levitt, a friend and photographer who is FEARLESS. We love this new project recently published in GQ. We hope you will follow her work and also visit her in her new NYC bar called Wise Men.

Last month I traveled to MANY military bases across the country to photograph a large group of women in the armed service. The photographs & the film are part of a story in this month’s GQ magazine. I interviewed around 20 women on their feelings of courage, gender influence, loyalty, the physicality, and sexism in the military. Their feelings were complex, and their experiences for widely varied. The issues of combat exclusion and women’s right to participate has been getting much attention these days, however the road is still very long ahead.

Our friend/photographer Stacey Mark (who shot our campaign for The Lake & Stars x Kate Spade New York) got Karley in the mood at the therapists office….

Our big announcement that you’ve been waiting for….

We have a new collection and it’s something we’ve been working on quietly with the big brand H&M for over a year…

Our favorite Swedes have opened a new chain of stores under the name “& Other Stories”, and they put our little minds in charge of their first ever lingerie collaboration!

The new concepts stores are in Europe (only) so far, but they are rapidly moving into new territories… We’re really excited for you all to see what we’ve done for them, and you can see some of the first styles on their website HERE.

We’ll post a list of locations and opening events shortly.

You’ll recognize some of our signature styles and some new looks that we were inspired to make for their European customer.

We’ll be posting more on this as new styles arrive…. stay tuned for loungewear, swimwear, and more!
