As you all know, we’re huge fans of our Spirit Sister Caroline, of the band Chairlift. This week her band opened their World Tour with a sold out show at Bowery Ballroom in NYC. Since I broke my knee this weekend and can’t go anywhere for the next few weeks, I was was forced to pretend the concert was in my room, as it would be in my pain-killer fantasy… We were VERY sad to miss the real thing! The only thing redeeming all this are the number of glorious reviews Chairlift is getting for this new album “Something”.  We are over the moon, so proud of them and happy that the album is finally released, and everyone can enjoy it as much as we have while it was being written.  Best write-up HERE on Pitchfork. xoxo MZ *album cover photo: Alejandro Cardenas
